Notes:
1.Only those candidates fulfilling all the essential qualifications and qualifying the screening by a duly constituted screening committee will be short-listed for further selection process.
2.The short-listed candidates have to appear for the final selection process as decided by the Institute.
3.The prescribed educational qualifications should be from a recognized University/Institution. Institute reserves the right to cross verify the credentials claimed by the candidates.
4.The CGPA/Grade to % conversion formula (issued by competent authority) applicable for the degree awarding institution (wherever grading other than % is used) has to be submitted along with the application, if the formula is not already provided in the certificate/mark sheet.
5. Primary research publications will only be considered for evaluation. Review papers will not be considered.
6.Canvassing in any form is not permitted and any interim enquiry will not be entertained.
7.The position is purely temporary and coterminous with the project; and selection to the position will not entitle the candidate any claim for future positions (permanent or otherwise) at Institute of Advanced Virology or with the funding agency.
8.The selected candidates can be posted and are liable to work at any part of the country as per the project requirements.
9. The duration of the project is for five years. The performance of the selected candidates will be evaluated annually or at intervals fixed by the authorities; and the Institute reserves the right to decide on the continuation/termination of the appointment based on the performance.
10.The Director, IAV reserves the right to decide on any matter related to the selection procedure, including cancellation of the selection process, if circumstances demand so.
11.The selected candidates are required to join within one month from date of appointment order.
