Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow in a SERB funded project entitled “Role of TRIM family proteins in megakaryocyte development/maturation and platelet production in dengue virus-induced thrombocytopenia” being carried out in the Department of Viral Vaccines at Institute of Advanced Virology, Thiruvananthapuram.

Selection procedure:
1.Applications will be initially screened by a screening committee based on the essential eligibility criteria applicable for the position.
2.Further shortlisting maybe carried out based on the desirable qualification if the number of short-listed candidates is found on higher side
3. The short-listed candidates have to appear for the selection process as decided by the Institute.
Duration of appointment: One year, with possible extension based on experience.
Emoluments: ₹ 31,000/- p.m + HRA

Notes:
1.Only those candidates fulfilling all the essential qualifications, and qualifying the screening by a duly constituted screening committee will be short-listed for further selection process
2.The CGPA/Grade to % conversion formula (issued by competent authority) applicable for the degree awarding institution (wherever grading other than % is used) has to be submitted along with the application, if the formula is not already provided in the certificate/mark sheet.
